Location

Nepal is in the southeast part of the Asia. It is surrounded by two huge countries ie India and China. That means it is a landlocked country. Three sides of Nepal is surrounded by China and one side is surrounded India. Nepal lies nearly in the equatorial belt of the earth. Eastern and Western part of Nepal's boundaries is separated by two big rivers Mechi and Mahakali. North part of Nepal's boundary is separated by high himalayan. There are many himalayan range in the north part of Nepal. Mount Everest which is also called as Sagarmatha is the highest mountain in the world. Terai plain land is in the southern part of Nepal which also touches the India. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal.Kathmandu lies nearly in the middle part of the country.
